Disneyland!!!

We just got back from California Saturday night (Sunday morning, really). We went for many reasons, including seeing family, going to the beach, just to get away... but one of my favorite reasons was for Cassidy to go to Disneyland and see the princesses! Cassidy was very excited about this "big big castle."
Toon Town:
Honey I shrunk the Audience: still a classic, although it scared the kids.
My favorite part: the princesses. We waited in line for over an HOUR to see three princesses and were DYING. And, while we were in line, rumors were flying that all the favorite princesses had gone off to some breakfast thing and we were going to see Pocahontas, Mulan and Jasmine. Still good, but that's NO Cinderella! Well, when our turn finally came, we came around the corner and saw Ariel. Cassidy was in awe. She ran up to her and they started dancing together. The people just behind us in line were freaking out at how cute it was!
Next up was Belle (the rumors about which princesses we would see were way wrong). All the princesses kept calling Cassidy "Cinderella" because of her dress. She was in HEAVEN and to tell you the truth, so was I.
While she was visiting with Belle, it was time to switch her out, so Cassidy got to see Sleeping Beauty, too!
After Sleeping Beauty, Cassidy saw Mulan and had no idea who she was. But she hugged her anyway. I was a bit sad that we hadn't seen Snow White and Cassidy was really sad that we hadn't seen Cinderella. But this was our day at Disney's California Adventure day (we had gone to Disneyland the day before) so off we left.
As we were rushing to our next destination, Joel saw Snow White just standing on the street with a SHORT line (which is CRAZY). So we waited the 5 minutes and got a picture with her too! I was completely happy with our princess visits for the day!
As we continued down the street at CA adventure, we saw Sully and hopped into his short line!
Cassidy called him "kitty" and he gave her a big hug:
Then, since Cassidy was still in her Cinderella dress, she was getting special attention from everyone around. One worker asked if she could do anything, like help us see Snow White and we told her the only princess we hadn't seen was Cinderella. So this worker told us where to go to see her in a show, and which side to sit on to see her afterwards. We saw the show and it was cute. After it was over, we walked towards the stage (along with everyone else) so we could get in line to see her. Well, she saw Cassidy, reached through the crowd, grabbed her hand and walked with her to the place where she would take pictures. I almost died.
Cassidy was so happy.
This one's going up on the wall:
Cinderella kissed her:
We finally changed Cassidy out of her princess dress and rode some rides that day. But I have to say, I thought the princess dress would be a hinderance, but it really got us the royal treatment everywhere we went!
The kids loved the rides (even Baby Ethan). Joel and I never really got to ride together except on kiddie rides, but we did get really short lines with Single Rider passes!
It was pretty much the best trip ever!
